Hello! Thank you for your enquiry into our simple graduate student 1-bedroom accommodation located in a peaceful home in a quiet and friendly neighborhood in Hyattsville, Maryland.

Our in-home accommodation at 5611 30th Ave is a fully furnished, non-smoking, and clean single-occupancy in a well-conditioned main level of a quiet family house. It is conveniently located for easy travel to and from any campus within the Washington Metropolitan area. It is also well suited for student comfort and reachability for all kinds of services.

We take very good care of our student renters. To that effect, these are what our past renters have to say about us:

    • 5-minute walk to Metro Bus/Subway (Greenline to UMD/College Park and Green/Redline to CUA)
    • 10-minute Subway ride to Catholic University and a 7-minute ride to University of Maryland
    • 3-minute short walks to Grocery Shops, Banks, Hair/Nail Salons, laundromats, restaurants, etc.
    • 15-minute walk to PG Plaza with classy restaurants and a State-of-the-Art Royale 14 Movie Theatre
    • 5-10-minute walk to doctor's office, dentists, and optometrists
All of the above for $750 per month for single occupancy (and 1,200 for shared accupancy) with security deposit of $750. You can't beat that price in this area!

Required Information

We require from our prospective renters:

  1. two reference letters with phone numbers (one from a family member, relative, or friend and one from an academic adviser or the registrar of the university where you're studying).

  2. *a copy of a valid University-issued Student ID card, or a valid State-issued ID, or a valid passport and a copy of your I-20 (if you're an international student).

  3. a brief introductory biography about yourself, field of study/teaching or other occupation, and intended length of stay.

      4. *Proof of your original ID is required at the time of signing the rental agreement.

Kind send the above requirements by email (at least 3 days) or postal mail (at least 7 days) prior to signing lease/rental agreement. This will help us to get to know you and to best serve your rental needs.

A security deposit of $1,000 and first month's rent of $750 ($1,200, if shared occupancy) are due upon signing of a minimum 6 months or 1-academic-semester lease/rental agreement. Mid-month rental will be prorated for that month.

Monthly rent payment is due the first of each month.
